Landing at FLL
Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL) sits between Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, and for a great many Miami journeys it is the better airport to fly into — the fares are often lower and the walk from gate to kerb is shorter than at MIA. Pick-ups are made at arrivals on the lower level of whichever of the four terminals you land in. Book with the flight number: the arrival is tracked, so a delay moves the chauffeur rather than costing you the car.
Leaving FLL
Cars leave FLL on US-1 and I-95, which is the run south into Miami Beach, Brickell and Downtown, and north into Boca and Palm Beach. Port Everglades is minutes away, and a cruise transfer is a different plan from an airport one — the car is held for the luggage and routed to the right terminal gate rather than the passenger drop.

Most of the work here is cruise and leisure: a family off one flight into a Sprinter with the cases, or a couple into a sedan for the run down the beach road. Business travellers flying into FLL for a Miami meeting take a sedan or an SUV and keep the car for the day rather than booking each leg.
